How We Teach

Share

Kindergarten marks an important transition from preschool to primary, thus the school wants the children to be very prepared. The school employs various international approaches to support their learning.

  • Inquiry – asking questions, observing, investigating will activate and develop the students knowledge and understanding of the world
  • Integrated Learning – using real-life context (Music, Art, Science and Technology)
  • Multiple Intelligence – caters to the varying learning styles of each child
  • Project Approach – fosters critical thinking and collaboration
  • Individualized and Group Instruction – reinforces lessons learned

Reedley’s Kindergarten Classroom is safe and comfortable, carpeted for circle time, has ample windows and houses its own bathroom for the students’ use. Also, there is a Library and a Listening Nook inside the classroom.

Furthermore, there is a separate PMP (Perceptual Motor Program) room for teacher-directed physical activities.
